Week 3 Pictures

The River Market in the Ancient City

Me playing a giant drum in the Ancient City.

Me playing that giant drum again. My skills are so quick you can't even keep the camera on me.

Mac and Me on a man-made mountain in the Ancient City

Mac and Me again - this time I've got my eyes closed.

Two paintings I stumbled across in an art display in the ancient city.

Another painting in the Ancient City.

Mac, Pa, and me sitting in some interesting traditional instruments in the "Ancient City". The Ancient City is this place they've set up in Bangkok shaped like Thailand that has dozens of ancient sites - either taken from the original site and brought there or recreated as authentically as possible. We spent the whole day there and saw some really awesome stuff.

Go, Pat, and Tim. Go and Pat are my roommates, Tim is the intern coordinator (Among other jobs). Great guys - this is in the office.

These crazy fish went wild when we fed them at the river market in the Ancient City. I don't think the video will even do them justice.

  1. My favorite pics are the one with your eyes closed. Why did you put that on? And the one with your mad skills playing drums! Hey, I linked your blog to mine, I can teach you how sometime.

  2. hi Kirk,
I am just now getting on the blog to view all that you have posted in the past 4 weeks (Nana says "hi".. said she is trying to get on at the library from time to time--they really need a new computer!).. anyway, hope Im doing this right (wasnt sure about being a member, so thought Id just post a comment) we are praying for you daily; or almost daily.. I think of you regularly and admit my prayers are little quickies of "keep Kirk safe" or the such.. your postings prompt me to pray more "unceasingly" for you and each one who is reaching out to the lost.. we miss you and are looking forward to seeing you and all your pics! we love you muchly! aunt Mimi and family :)
ps. am sure Prov 3:5,6 is familiar to you; but such powerful verses
